Two different boundaries
A daily limit can be based on starting balance, current equity or another stated reference point. An overall limit can be static or trailing. Open positions, simulated fees and day boundaries may affect either calculation.
A static floor remains fixed from the initial hypothetical balance. A trailing floor can rise after qualifying equity highs, but the timing and any cap depend on the applicable rules.
Compare rules carefully
The same numerical limit can produce a different outcome under another calculation method. Review the applicable definitions before participating; a historical test cannot certify compliance with a specific evaluation framework.
