What is Market Rush?

Market Rush is a fast-paced 1v1 trading game where you compete against another user in short trading challenges (1, 3, or 5 minutes) using virtual funds. Your goal is to outperform your opponent by making better trades within the time limit.

What is NXI?

NXI is the virtual exchange used in Market Rush. You start each challenge with a set amount of equity for trading. It’s purely virtual and does not represent real money.

What is the purpose of Market Rush?

Market Rush offers a fun, competitive, and risk-free way to learn or practice trading. By using virtual currency and short head-to-head challenges, the platform focuses on skill-building, engagement, and fast decision-making.

How does XP work?

XP (Experience Points) determine what stake levels you can play. You earn XP by depositing funds or playing games. Higher XP unlocks higher stake levels, ensuring fair and responsible gameplay.

How is Market Rush different from other trading platforms?

Unlike traditional platforms, Market Rush doesn’t rely on real markets or long trading sessions. Instead, it uses a 1v1 challenge model with a virtual currency and a unique pricing mechanism, making it an engaging, skill-based competition with no real-money risk.

Do I need any prior trading experience to use Market Rush?

Not at all. Market Rush is designed for both beginners and experienced traders. It’s a great way to explore trading strategies or hone your skills without risking real money.

Is Market Rush free to use?

Yes, Market Rush is completely free in its demo mode. You trade using virtual currency, so there’s no financial risk.

Can I lose real money on Market Rush?

No, currently all trading is done with virtual currency. There is no real money involved during the demo phase.

1v1 Challenge Basics

How do 1v1 challenges work?

You and an opponent each post the same stake, choose a time limit (1, 3, or 5 minutes), and then trade in real time. Once the timer ends, the trader with the higher equity wins.

Can I choose my challenge stake and duration?

Yes. When posting a challenge, you select both the stake (The entry amount from each player) and the duration (1, 3, or 5 minutes). The platform pairs you with an opponent who agrees to the same stake and duration.

What happens if the result is a tie?

If both players finish with the same final equity and equal tie-breakers, it's a perfect draw — no one wins, no one loses.

In this case, your full stake is refunded instantly to both players. Since there’s no platform fee generated, no XP is awarded — but it still counts as a completed match.

Who is behind Market Rush?

Market Rush was developed by a team of IIT Madras students, backed by Nirmaan (the startup pre-incubator at IIT Madras). They have expertise in engineering, finance, and product development.

What inspired the creation of Market Rush?

Market Rush was inspired by the idea of turning trading into a fast, competitive, and accessible game of skill.

How do you ensure the safety of your users?

We implement best security practices like encryption, password hashing, and regular audits. Since all trading in demo mode is virtual, there’s no real-money risk.

How do I register an account?

Can I change my username or email address?

Yes, you can do so in the section of your account.

What should I do if I forget my password?

Use the "Forgot Password" option, and a reset link will be sent to your registered email.

Trading Features

What is reverse supply/demand?

Market Rush uses a unique “reverse supply/demand” model with time-based price creation, eliminating traditional liquidity issues. Orders execute instantly, so you can focus on strategy rather than order matching.

How does the reverse supply-demand pricing mechanism work?

Prices adjust every 500 ms based on the net position, capturing volatility and sentiment. This dynamic model ensures a fast-paced trading environment with minimal friction.

Can I hold the equity outside of challenges?

All positions are squared off once a challenge ends. You can’t transfer the equity from challenges out of the game or hold it indefinitely.

Is there a minimum or maximum amount I can trade?

Yes, each trade has a limit to how many units you can buy or sell. Typically, your net position must stay below 10 million.

Can we place limit and SL orders?

Not at this time. As Market Rush evolves, additional trading features may be added based on user interest.

Platform Functionality

What should I do if I encounter a bug or issue on the platform?

How much XP do I get from deposits?

You earn 1 XP for every ₹10 deposited. For example, a ₹100 deposit gives you 10 XP, which unlocks ₹10 stake matches. You get a minimum of 10 XP on every deposit.

Can I earn XP without depositing?

Yes! You earn XP by playing matches. So whether you win or lose, your XP grows.

How is XP earned by playing matches?

XP (Experience Points) are earned every time you play a real match on Market Rush. The higher the stake, the more XP you gain.

XP helps you unlock access to higher stake matches. For example, to play in a ₹500 match, you need at least 500 XP. You can earn XP in two ways:

XP is awarded automatically whether you win or lose — so every match helps you progress.

Why can't I play higher stake matches?

Each stake level requires a minimum XP. You can increase your XP by depositing more or playing and earning through matches.

Demo Phase Details

Is there a payment gateway available during the demo phase?

Only a demo gateway is available. All transactions are purely virtual, and no real-money trading occurs at this stage.

When will real money trading be available?

Real money trading may be introduced after we meet legal requirements and gauge sufficient user interest.

Funds and Withdrawals

How do I add funds to my account?

Since Market Rush is currently in demo mode, adding funds simply involves increasing your virtual balance within the platform. There’s no real-money deposit.

What is the withdrawal policy on Market Rush?

Market Rush ensures that withdrawals are fast, secure, and user-friendly. Here's how it works:

🔐 KYC Required

For security and compliance, a first deposit and KYC verification is required before your first withdrawal. In addition, you must earn at least 50 XP through gameplay or deposits to unlock withdrawals. These steps help us prevent fraud and ensure all fund transfers are safe and transparent.
